Food was average. There is a lot more delicious food in Bangkok. Prawn though was a huge disappointment. Under-seasoned and a bit over-cooked with no umami.

Food is moderately expensive. They have a separate menu for foreigners. I attached a receipt as a reference guide of the price of 5 pax. It is quite close to the chinatown MRT(m line) station way mangkon. It's walkable, about 500m away from the mrt station. Suggest to have dinner here and walk to Chinatown afterwards. You may enjoy the night street light of chinatown.

Worth the trip for the sukiyaki as it was well done for me but not for my wife. ( as some say , either u like or don’t). Don’t fray, the Seafood will make up for it. Top - must order is the Scallop ( BBQ Style with bacon 🥓 chips and minced meat with a salty buttery taste 👅). The grilled squid 🦑 is really good too with the chilli sauce. Almost perfection juicy and tenderly nice with tiny areas charred. Vegetable was good and Thai styled. Oh…. Do not miss Green Mussels as it was good but a little for me. And lastly some shell fish grilled . Overall , filling and satisfying!

Overall, great food. I'd recommend the grilled prawns, scallops, and fried noodles. The sukiyaki is well made but too sweet for my taste buds. The only issue was that one of the prawns was undercooked. Instead of giving us a new prawn, they re-grilles the prawn we already de-shelled.

Delicious food but sometimes strange combinations. They put pork into the scallops and pork fat into the seafood soup. The price a little bit higher for such places.

Dried beef suki. Beef is delicious (but not many pieces given). Other is so-so. Vegetables are crispy. Fermented tofu takes the lead in taste. Quite expensive. Store entrance is wet and quite dirty.

I have heard a lot about this Suki restaurant; however, I didn’t try since I didn’t expect to wait for very long queue; every time I go there, I see at least 5-10 customers waiting in front of the restaurant with hot weather and wok smoke. By chance, I found that there are no queue at all around 18.00 hrs Saturday of late December when people travel away from Bangkok to enjoy x’mas and new year season. It’s time to try! I tried 2 dishes which are Beef Suki (no soup) and Rare shrimp in fish sauce which are so good in taste. The best is Beef Suki, a must to try! The vermicelli are soft and perfectly blended with Chinese suki sauces but the beef is a little over cooked. However, the wok smell is the reason why I give them 4 stars. Moreover, the owner changed the coconut jelly for me since it was froze and couldn’t be ate; he ask waiter to replace me a new one. That’s also counted for good service mind and qualified for 4-stars cheap eat restaurant. Don’t expect the elegant Thai-Chinese cuisine here; it’s food street dishes with delicious and cost worthy.

Elvis Suki was recommended by a local Thai friend and it did not disappoint. Don’t expect luxury or fancy presentation - this is a cheap and high value establishment. Highly recommend the grilled scallops (200 baht for six), smoky and delicious. Tasted better than some fancy establishments . The dry beef Suki was tender and delicious, well seasoned. Waiter recommended the pad Thai, which was fantastic and some of the best we’ve had this trip. Finally the fried noodles with fatty pork was on point. Next time we will have to try the fried horse radish, that looked very delicious. Summarizing: Good value Delicious Get the grilled scallops Outdoor seating Street vibe Very local Recommended!
